We bring experience from across the assistance dog sector, including internationally recognised Assistance Dogs International (ADI) and International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF) member organisations, alongside extensive involvement in the owner-trained assistance dog community.
We also have an professional network of assessors based all around the UK. All of our assessors are experienced professionals with backgrounds in assistance dog training, canine behaviour and welfare. Each assessor is a qualified dog trainer in their own right and brings a wealth of practical experience working with dogs and handlers. For added peace of mind, all assessors hold an enhanced DBS check and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, welfare, and ethical practice.
Dr. Chris Muldoon Director of Training at the Hong Kong Guide Dogs Association with over 30 years’ international experience in guide and assistance dog training, research and accreditation. He is an International Assessor with the International Guide Dog Federation and Chair of its Accreditation Committee, and also serves on Assistance Dogs International’s education and certification committees. A Guide Dog Mobility Instructor with two PhDs, Chris is a strong advocate for ethical, evidence-based practice that respects the agency and wellbeing of both clients and dogs.
Sandra is former Chair of trustees of Dog Assistance In Disability (Dog A.I.D.) – an ADUK charity that supports people to train their own assistance dogs. Sandra is a tutor and assessor for the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and a member of the BSI shadow committee for CEN 452 Assistance Dogs.
Qualified dog trainer with over 8 years’ experience training assistance dogs. Selina has been a trainer and assessor for Canine Generated Independence since 2016 and is the owner-trainer of assistance dog Kuga and prospect puppy Oke. Her personal experience of assistance dogs gives her a unique perspective as both a handler and qualified dog trainer. Selina is a member of the BSI shadow committee for CEN 452 Assistance Dogs.
Richard has a wealth of experience from Military Service serving in the British Army to Law Enforcement and Financial Regulation. Diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in 2009, Richard now has his assistance dog Ziggy, an Owner Trained Assistance Dog. Richard has been nominated for a number of awards. He champions Accessibility Rights for Assistance Dogs especially those who are owner trained and is driven to show that education will assist in delivering change.
Assistance dog trainer and assessor with over 8 years experience working in both charity and private sectors. Becki was the resident assistance dog trainer on C5's Underdog to Superdog with Alan Titchmarsh, which showcased step by step training of taskwork. She is also training advisor for TDTUK Assistance Dogs. Becki is a full member of the Professional Association of Canine Trainers (PACT) and a registered animal training instructor at the Animal Behaviour & Training Council (ABTC)
With over 20 years' experience working with dogs, Danielle is passionate about welfare led, ethical and evidence informed practice. Her work focuses on emotional regulation, behaviour, and helping assistance dog partnerships thrive. As a behaviourist, educator, mentor, and assessor, she is committed to supporting both handlers and dogs to succeed together.

Shanta has a wealth of experience in the assistance dog sector being a trainer for Veterans with Dogs and an assessor for the ADAA. She has a Bsc in applied Biology and specialism in canine behaviour & training. Shanta is passionate about animal welfare and promoting strong bonds between handlers and their dogs.
Katrina has a Ba(Hons) degree in Business Studies and majored in Marketing. She is passionate about all animals and cares deeply animal welfare. She is a full time bee keeper and takes care of the application side of things here at the ADAA.
