We are thrilled to announce that Ted, the lovable canine companion from the BBC series "Gone Fishing," has embarked on a new adventure as the Ambassadog for the Assistance Dog Assessment Association (ADAA).
Ted, the Patterdale is best known for his cheeky underbite and his heartwarming presence alongside hosts Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse in the BBC series Gone Fishing. This year he has consulted with his agent and decided to extend his professional portfolio by becoming an Ambassadog for the ADAA! Ted is no stranger to charitable events and work. As part of the Gone Fishing team, he has already helped raise awareness of multiple charities including those advocating mental health awareness and issues surrounding wellbeing.
Ted modelling his new ADAA bandana and taking his new role very seriously.
Throughout his TV appearances, Ted's gentle nature and loyalty has captured audiences' hearts, reflecting the special bond between dogs and their handlers. He has already helped the ADAA raise funds by walking with his friends at a Christmas 2023 Charity Dog walk and is sure to help us raise more awareness of the importance of owner trained assistance dogs in the UK.
Thanks for all of your hard work Ted!
